We run groups, activities and training in our community space Monday to Friday every week. We are volunteer-run, supported by our coordinator. We offer a home-from-home environment; warm, cosy and friendly.
Anybody is welcome to attend.
Monday
Warm Space 10.00 am to 3.00 pm November-March. Offering a hot drink, toast or soup and a warm safe space. Free
Tuesday
Knit & Natter 1.00 pm-3.00 pm, and our warm space is open 6 pm-8 pm. Free warm drinks, hot food and activities for all.
Upbeat music session by Soundlincs. 11.00 am to 12.30 pm. Free
Wednesday
Lunch Club (bookable) 12.00 pm or 1.30 pm. Roast dinner, pudding and a hot drink for £6.
Thursday
Art & craft group 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm - bring your own project and meet new people.
Fitness and Friendship 11.45 am - 12.30 pm. Seated exercise to music. Open to all over 50's. Free
You can come in at any of these times for help, support and signposting, the kettle is always on.
We also have a charity shop in the building next door, and a school uniform bank offering free uniforms.

Getting out of the house and meeting new people is great for wellbeing.
Learning new skills is good for mental health and wellbeing.
Access to the internet is free here, and we can help you to access support online.
Coming to Winnies has changed my life. I was so lonely and isolated, now I have a new group of friends and I volunteer to run the charity shop that we opened in April four days a week. I feel so much happier and have a purpose in life.
